How does architecture and the natural environment affect us? What effects do they have on our well-being and inspiration?

Retreat is a mental and physical refuge. A secluded but at the same time open space for contemplation, self-reflection, meditation and rest. Hugging the landscape and following the undulations of the earth, and with one end elevated in the air, the construction becomes an introspective gazebo.

The project consists of the construction and printed matter presenting the research and process.

  David Larsson

  Artist book, 2014

Artist book showing David Larsson's project Schematisk bild av Ångermanälven. The project was a photographic journey along the Swedish river Ångermanälven and it's water power stations. The artist book comes in a box and contains of a large foldout map with the photographs placed on their locations along the river, and a logbook with the artist's notes.

  Beckmans Fashion Collaboration

The third year fashion students at Beckmans College of Design were invited to create personal collections based on leading brands on the Swedish fashion scene — Carin Wester, Cheap Monday, House of Dagmar, Filippa K, Our Legacy, Whyred and Örjan Andersson — and show their work at Stockholm Fashion Week.

Beckmans fashion shows are usually appreciated for their unconventional, artistic and bold expression. To give the fashion show a unique profile, putting Beckmans College of Design in contrast to the other retail oriented fashion shows at Stockholm Fashion Week, we chose this quality as the conceptual framework for the design.

The fashion students were asked to define their collections in a scentence starting with "This is not...". These sentences were then printed on cloth banners and hung on either side of the catwalk to create an ambiance during the seating and after the show.

  Beckmans x Örjan Andersson

  Film, part of Beckmans Fashion Collaboration, 2015

Swedish fashion designer Örjan Andersson has a playful and relaxed attitude towards the fashion scene. In his world there are no rights or wrongs as long as it feels good for oneself.

With the same attitude, Beckmans College of Design fashion students Annika Lunneskog and Emelie Riquelme created collections inspired by the DIY punk tradition and children’s creativity.

This film is a moving collage that plays with perspective, materials and the classic fashion film format.

  Resonera

  Visual identity, course material, 2014

Resonera (reason, argue) is a course for secondary school students. The course provides an opportunity for students to express their opinions on social issues and highlight their own identity. The course concludes with a discussion at Forum/Debatt, which is a part of Kulturhuset City Theater in Stockholm. The visual concept is based on development and expands as the course goes on.
